How is it possible that I have been able to quit my job and already, before my last day in corporate america, have found a nonprofit to begin working with? Life is too cool.

I did it! I gave my notice Thursday. What a relief. Not sure what is next in line for me but I can't wait to find out.

I am quitting my job in the morning. I told three people today. I have decided to bow out gracefully. I wrote my resignation letter around noon. It feels really really really good. Alan said, "the best days of work are the first day and the last day." I have to say that seems about right.

I took a few days off and I still really want out. Am I running to or from? If I am running to - what is it I am running to? Freedom from this place I have spent so many years... I need to and want to voluntarily downsize my life. I feel like it's coming quickly. Maybe Thursday? Or Friday for sure?

I revised my resume. Damn, it looks good. I posted to nonprofitoyster.com but no hits yet. I am circling around a potential opportunity with my current job which would involve work with nonprofits. Maybe the work I seek is here, I just need to find the key to unlock the door.
