I realize I have no idea what I want to do next. There are many interests that swirl around inside of me. Part of me wants to save the world. I want to discover a new physics principle that redefines the universe. I want to develop a radical alternative to 12-step programs. I want to write something that changes people's lives. I want to find true love in every human being I come in contact with. I want to change the world to a vegetarian diet. I want to be a famous artist. I want to put on theater at nursing homes with residents and staff in the roles. I want to work with non-profit agencies. I want to have many interesting friends. I want to laugh easily. I want to help others. I want to bring people together in a common cause. I want to transcend the boundaries within electronic communications.
I want to be sitting cross-legged in India blissing my ass off while I figure this shit out.

Welcome to this beautiful campus situated in the pleasant residential area of Koregaon Park, Pune, some fifteen minutes by air from Mumbai (formerly Bombay).
This lush contemporary 40-acre campus is a tropical oasis where nature and the 21st Century blend seamlessly, both within and without. With its white marble pathways, elegant black buildings, abundant foliage and Olympic-sized swimming pool, it is the perfect setting to take time out for yourself.
This is a place where you can learn the art of relaxation, where you can enjoy the company of visitors of all ages from over 100 countries. But most essentially it is a place to meet yourself.
Learn simple Osho Active Meditations, techniques specifically designed for the contemporary over-charged mind and stress-impacted body.
Nourish your body-mind-soul with a stunning selection of individual sessions, like bodywork and massage, and longer workshops and courses — all designed to help you become more aware of yourself.
Take this opportunity to learn life skills and acquire tools to take home that will help you remain relaxed even in the busiest of workaday environments.
The key to relaxation is awareness, being a keen observer of all that is going on both inside and around us — this is the inner science, often also called meditation.
And while we each have to walk this walk alone, it is more supportive and more fun to share the process with others, whether during the various daytime activities, or in the evening — trying out a new meditation technique, or enjoying an evening a party, dancing, or the plaza café, watching or participating in live theater events or just going to the movies.
Above all this is a unique environment created through the awareness, humor, and celebration that each of us brings to the table.
"Every year thousands of people visit this luxurious resort… A very comfortable paradise where you can stay a long time, with low-budget hotels nearby and very good food in the commune, with meditations free. The atmosphere is really like a fairy tale. A paradise where all your emotional, bodily and spiritual needs are met. I can advise everybody to visit for a few days and walk around that beautiful garden where everybody is friendly."

"It was the sheer beauty of the place that I first fell for. Meditation was in the very air."

We generally direct people who are looking for work in the nonprofit sector to the "Useful Links" section of our website. We have a listing of sites related to "Employment" which I think you might find especially helpful. This list can be found at http://www.snpo.org/resources/employment.html. You are more than welcome to make reference to this site in your documentation. I hope that you find this helpful.
Sincerely,

Subject: IT Jobs in the Nonprofit World?
Hi,
I have worked in IT in the commercial sector for close to 9 years. I want to transition into nonprofit work and use my skills to be of greater service to others.
Can you recommend a few resources to help me begin my search?
Thank you,
name withheld on this site during job search
PS - I plan to document this process in web site format to make it easier for others like me who may be considering the same switch. May I also have permission to post your response?
